Deterministic Spin Entangler and Photon Entangler Using a Charged Quantum Dot in a Microcavity

Abstract

We present a deterministic photon-spin entangling gate using a charged quantum dot in a microcavity. This gate can be used for quantum non-demolition measurement of spin, spin entanglement, photon entanglement and as a photon-spin quantum interface.
