Polar Molecules and Circuit QED: Towards Hybrid Quantum Computing

Abstract

Qubits encoded in longlived rotational states of polar molecules interact strongly with single photons of a superconducting stripline cavity. We discuss potential applications of such a hybrid device for quantum information processing.
