Phase-Locked Degenerate Picosecond Optical Parametric Oscillator With 2.8 W Average Power at ~2 μm

Abstract

We report the first phase-locked degenerate doubly-resonant picosecond optical parametric oscillator providing broadband output with 202-nm bandwidth centered at 2128 nm with record average power of 2.8 W in 19.2-ps pulses at 80-MHz repetition-rate.
