Abstract

We demonstrate a novel scheme for improved feed-forward carrier-envelope phase stabilization of amplified laser sources. Electrical few-cycle pulses are used to drive an acousto-optical frequency shifter to generate bursts of CEP stabilized seed pulses at the amplifier repetition rate.
