Theory of attosecond cross correlation measurement

Abstract

A recent laser-xuv cross correlation method exploits the laser-induced down-shift of the photoelectron spectrum for xuv pulse measurements. The theory of laser-xuv photoelectron spectra is presented, which allows the determination of attosecond pulse durations.
