Abstract

Saturated amplification has been achieved at 13.9 nm and 11.9 nm by travelling wave, collisional pumping of Ag and Sn lasers respectively, resulting in the x-ray flux of 2×l012 photons for the Ag laser. Progress in the x-ray parametric scattering experiment where x-ray laser is nonlinearly mixed with optical laser is reported.
