Abstract
High-order-harmonic generation (HHG) [1] by the interaction of femtosecond high- intensity laser pulses with a gaseous medium has been extensively studied since it has promising potential for use as a coherent extreme ultraviolet and soft-X-ray source as an alternative to soft-x-ray lasers or synchrotron radiation sources.
