Manufacturing of Freeform Optics completely based on Plasmajet Machining

Abstract

A freeform optics manufacturing chain completely based on atmospheric plasmajet processes will be presented, where freeform generation by high-rate etching is followed by plasmajet-assisted thermal polishing and a fine etching process for surface error correction.
