Supercontinuum Generation in Er/Yb Doped Amplifier using Dissipative Optical pulses

Abstract

Supercontinuum generated directly from an Erbium/Ytterbium fiber amplifier and their dependence on pump power has been experimentally reported. Waveforms of pulses remain unchanged in contrast with respective spectra from 0.1 to 12 W pump power.
