Compact waveguide-type optical-see-through varifocal near-eye display using focus-tunable lens

Abstract

We propose a concept of waveguide-type optical-see-through near-eye display which can generate multiple display planes. Compact formfactor has been achieved thanks to the focus-tunable lens and volume grating couplers with the optical power.
