Abstract

We propose and analyze actively tunable near-unity absorption resonances in simple all-dielectric nanogratings based on phase-transition material, vanadium dioxide (VO2), theoretically and numerically. We focus on enhancement and tunability of resonance spectra according to coating of a dielectric transparent optical film on the VO2 nanogratings.
