Interferometric measurements of the resonant nonlinearity of CO and CO2 gas in the 9 – 11 µm range

Abstract

We report interferometric measurements of the resonant nonlinearity of CO and CO2 gas using a continuously tunable, multiatmosphere CO2 laser. The implications of these measurements to atmospheric nonlinear optics will be discussed.
