Investigating Stochastic Resonance to Enhance the Resolution of CCD-based Thermoreflectance Imaging

Abstract

Thermoreflectance imaging is a high-resolution imaging technique, which employs a 4-bucket algorithm that averages over many sample modulation periods. We develop a model of measurement noise to optimize stochastic resonance of the averaging process.
