Parity–time-symmetric circular Bragg lasers: enhanced modal discrimination between azimuthal modes

Abstract

We have proposed and analyzed parity–time-symmetric circular Bragg lasers by using coupled-mode theory and transfer-matrix method. These lasers are shown to have better control in their azimuthal modes with enhanced modal discrimination.
