Prepulse-Induced Three-Halves-Harmonic Generation as a Probe for Relativistic-Laser-Driven High-Density Plasmas

Abstract

We examine three-halves-harmonic generation for femtosecond laser pulses under varying pulse intensity and contrast. Strong variation in the shape and relative magnitude of the three-halves harmonic is observed.
