Sensitivity Improvement for a Smartphone-Based Lateral Flow Immunoassay Reader

Abstract

We show that manually adjusting the camera’s exposure time of a smartphone lateral flow reader to the highest slope of the nonlinear transfer function can significantly improve the sensitivity of the reader.
