Coherent Blue Light Driven by a Diode Laser and a High Repetition Rate Pulse Train

Abstract

Using a diode laser and a 1 GHz femtosecond pulse train, we investigate the Autler-Townes splitting and the influence of an electromagnetic induced transparency window in the coherent blue light generated in rubidium vapor.
