Pixel-based Engineering for Suppression of Higher Orders of Diffraction

Abstract

For the reduction of higher diffraction orders in computer hologram reconstructions, pixel engineering methods are proposed: pixel apodization (phase and amplitude) and their randomization. The results of simulations and experiments are discussed.
