Amplitude Equalization Analysis of Optical Frequency Combs Generated by Dual Drive Mach-Zehnder Modulator for High Capacity Optical Transmissions

Abstract

An amplitude equalization analysis of optical frequency comb generation by a dual-drive Mach-Zehnder modulator is presented. The resulting algorithm allowed lower than 0.01 comb intensity standard deviation via modulating signals amplitude control.
