Highly Sensitive Ammonia Gas Detection with a Silica Toroid Microcavity Packaged in a Box

Abstract

We demonstrate highly sensitive and practical ammonia gas (NH3) detection with a packaged silica toroid microcavity. We report our experimental results and achieve a detection sensitivity of 0.43 nm/ppm.
