Abstract
An optical image authentication scheme based on DCT is developed to realize sparse mixture encoding of multiple-image, and compressed transition of ciphtext simultaneously. In our proposal, a synthetic ciphertext is constructed by simply adding the sparse compressed encoded images from different plaintexts. Security level of this scheme is improved greatly because the decryption result generated from correct decryption keys is a noise-like image without plaintext visually revealed. In order to evaluate the decryption result, a nonlinear fractional correlation filter fabricated from the plaintext must be used to recognize the remnant information in the noise fluctuation. Two block diagrams are presented to explain the basic principle of this proposal with simulation results given to verify its effectiveness.
