Nonlinear Photoacoustic Studies of Cu2O nanoparticles for Photonic and Biomedical Applications

Abstract

We synthesized Cu2O nanoparticles and performed structural, nonlinear optical characterization. Grain size of the nanoparticles was found to be 21 nm with a band gap of 2.32eV. Z-scan studies depicts reverse saturable absorption type behavior.
