Plasma Q-Plate for Intense Laser Beam Shaping

Abstract

A q-plate for manipulating wavefronts of high-intensity laser beams is proposed in a magnetized plasma. Using full kinetic particle-in-cell simulations, we demonstrate that light with orbital angular momentum above ionization intensity can be generated.
