Multispectral optical frequency comb based on microresonator Faraday instability

Abstract

We demonstrate a new type of microresonator frequency comb where the momentum conservation law is fulfilled by azimuthal modulation of the waveguide dispersion. The concept expands the parametric range in which Kerr comb is obtained.
