A Hand-Held Optical Coherence Tomography and Vibrometry Device for Human Inner Ear Imaging with Subnanometer Sensitivity to Vibration

Abstract

We are developing endoscopic OCT to visualize the morphology and functional vibratory response of the human inner ear through the round window. Preliminary results show good image quality with 41±21 pm sensitivity on piezo element while hand-held.
