In this paper, a four bit BCD to Excess 3 code convertor using electro-optic effect of lithium niobate based Mach Zehnder interferometer (MZI) is proposed. Excess 3 codes play a crucial role in data transmission. The results are verified using beam propagation method and MATLAB simulation.
