ArF Excimer Laser Filamentation Induced Damage in Fused Silica

Abstract

Filamentation induced damage in the fused silica excited by nanosecond DUV laser pulses with microscope objective lens are demonstrated. The evaluation of damage growth and that of mitigation on fused silica are investigated.
