Inverse Methods and the Design of Subwavelength Scattering Elements for Superresolution

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Subwavelength-scale scatterers convert evanescent into propagating waves. Nonlinear inverse scattering algorithms may reveal these processes leading to superresolved images but they may be replaced by propagating through designed optical structures.
