3C Silicon Carbide Nanophotonics

Abstract

The development of novel photonic materials can offer new capabilities for non-linear and quantum optics. We demonstrate key components for a photonic platform in 3C-SiC, including high-confinement waveguides, grating couplers and high-Q resonators.
