Quantum Information Processing Using Programmable Silicon Photonic Integrated Circuits

Abstract

Photonic integrated circuits (PICs) provide a stable, compact, and potentially scalable architecture for generating, manipulating, and measuring optical quantum states. We describe recent progress on programmable silicon PICs for quantum communications and quantum simulation.
