Frequency Comb Generation at Near Visible Wavelengths in a Microbubble Resonator

Abstract

We demonstrate frequency comb generation with 14 lines for visible wavelengths in a silica microbubble resonator, with a Q-factor of 107, via dispersion engineering. The visible wavelength comb has applications in metrology, biosensing, and bioimaging.
