The steering of THz pulses using thin emitters excited by tilted optical pulse-fronts

Abstract

A potentially scalable, efficient, and rapid method of steering THz pulses emitted from thin media using optical pulse-front tilt is developed theoretically and verified in a proof-of-concept experiment. This method can also measure pulse-front tilt.
