Enhanced Second-Order Optical Nonlinearity in Doped Graphene on a Two-Dimensional Diffraction Grating

Abstract

Doped graphene placed on a diffraction grating can exhibit a strong modulation of the graphene plasmon polariton in the THz range. We present a theoretical analysis of the enhanced second-harmonic generation in doped graphene for plane-wave irradiation.
