Sub-Megahertz Single Photon Source Suitable for Quantum Memories

Abstract

We report 100% duty cycle generation of single photon pairs with a bandwidth of 666 ± 16 kHz at the Rubidium D1 line using cavity-enhanced spontaneous parametric downconversion.
