Transmission of Individual Optical Signals through a Multimode Fiber Using Digital Optical Phase Conjugation

Abstract

Transmission through a multimode fiber is demonstrated using phase conjugation. Using multiple windows of a spatial light modulator allows asynchronous imaging through the fiber. Potential for optogenetics and communications engineering is outlined.
