Abstract
An electro-optic (EO) polymer waveguide Bragg grating on a photopolymer NOA61 substrate was designed and fabricated at a Bragg wavelength (λB) of 1544.51nm. Slow light propagation in the grating can be achieved by tuning the carrier wavelength around the Bragg reflection FWHM bandwidth of ~0.17nm. With an electrode separation of 12 μm and an r33 ~ 200 pm/V, 30 ps delays at < 10 V is feasible.
