Integrated Impedance-matched Photonic Dirac-cone Metamaterials

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate zero index of an in-plane Dirac-cone metamaterial at 1550 nm. This design can serve as an on-chip platform to explore the exotic physics of Dirac-cone metamaterials and its applications in integrated photonics.
