Hybrid Chalcogenide Nanowire for Mid-IR Single-Optical Cycle Pulse Generation

Abstract

We design an As2S3 nanowire embedded-core in silica photonic crystal fiber. The hybrid structure shows to be very promising for mid-IR pulse compression in the monocycle regime with broadband low-energy supercontinuum generation at 1550 nm.
