Determination of Nonlinear Optical Coefficients from Micropowders in the Presence of Scattering: A revision of the Kurtz-Perry Method

Abstract

The shortcomings of the Kurtz-Perry method are discussed. Several procedures that overcome these limitations are proposed. Experiments demonstrate that those procedures can provide reliable values for the NLO coefficients even in the presence of scattering.
