Super-resolution imaging based on ground state depletion on nanodiamonds

Abstract

We report on the super-resolution imaging of single nitrogen vacancy centres based on the ground state depletion method. A resolution of 57.1 nm by 41.2 nm is achieved which holds the potential for ultra-high density optical data storage.
