Intrinsic Signal Functional Imaging of the Retina: Outer Retinal Origins

Abstract

Near-infrared reflectance imaging of retina has revealed intrinsic signals that are correlated with delivered visual stimuli. Studies have shown that these signals are primarily hemodynamic in origin and are driven by outer retinal activity.
