Radiation-driven Optomechanical Pressure Sensor

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate the first optomechanical pressure-sensor employing an all-silica multi-mode optomechanical oscillator at 16 MHz and 11 GHz, simultaneously driven by radiation-pressure and SBS. A hollow whispering-gallery microresonator is used as the pressure-sensing cavity.
