Enhanced Phase Estimation using Quantum and Classical Light

Abstract

We show that by mixing quantum spontaneous parametric down-conversion with the classical coherent state we can enhance phase sensitivity in an interferometer, under experimental considerations of photon loss and non ideal detection.
