A Hybrid Photonic Crystal Microcavity in Strong Coupling Regime

Abstract

A hybrid photonic crystal cavity structure is designed for 2D polariton study by integrating a high-index-contrast grating into a vertical microcavity. The new structure allows unique photon and polariton dispersions compared with conventional DBR-DBR cavity.
