Nonlinear compression of self-healing Airy pulses in silicon-on-insulator waveguides

Abstract

The self-phase modulation, the two-photon absorption and the frequency-carrier absorption reduce the length of self-healing Airy pulses compression in a propagation regime of normal group-velocity dispersion, positive chirp and a negative value of fourth-order dispersion.
