An Unconventional Microcavity System for Polaritons

Abstract

An unconventional microcavity structure in the strong-coupling regime is designed to engineer the properties of exciton-polaritons, including their polarization, dimensionality, and effective mass. Such polariton systems provide a sandbox for novel manybody physics.
