Statistical Similarity and Cross-spectral Purity of Optical Beams

Abstract

It was shown that the concept of statistical similarity can elucidate the phenomenon of complete spatial coherence. In this presentation we discuss its connection with the cross-spectral purity of statistically stationary stochastic optical beams.
