All-Fiber Mach-Zehnder Interferometer for a 3nm Spacing Wavelength Combiner for Spectral Beam Combining of Ytterbium Doped Fiber Lasers

Abstract

An all-fiber three wavelengths combiner based on fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometer structures is proposed for spectral beam combining of Ytterbium doped fiber lasers. The device showed extinction ratio over 25dB and excess loss of 1.1dB.
