Direct Measurement of the Geometric Spin Hall Effect of Light

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a recently predicted novel beam shift phenomenon, the geometric spin Hall effect of light. This effect is fundamentally different from ordinary beam shifts due to its purely geometric nature.
