Abstract

Interferometric synthetic aperture microscopy (ISAM) is a computed imaging technique that achieves spatially-invariant transverse resolution in optical coherence tomography. We demonstrate a high speed, memory efficient implementation of 3D-ISAM using the graphics processing unit (GPU) on a 1300 nm spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) system which is several orders of magnitude faster than previously reported ISAM processing on a CPU.
